Turns out, Matt started to propose to me months before he got down on one knee. It started with Matt telling me that we were going pose for couple photos in a couple months for a friend's capstone photography project. I said ok, and moved on. A couple days later he gave me a card ( I love cards and keep all the cards I receive) out of the blue that included a note about what he enjoyed about our relationship and doing life together. Over the next several weeks receiving surprise cards became a theme, and I looked forward to the next one I would receive. Before I knew it was time to take our photos at Kerry Park. Once we got to the park Matt set down his backpack and signature Diet Coke and pulled out another card that listed the reasons why he wanted to marry me. Matt had another surprise in store though as he then pulled out all the cards he had given me over weeks and lined them up to show me that all together they spelled out "Marry". He then got down one one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said yes!
